FIS Series Sight Flow Indicators

Check up to five results to perform an action.

J.G. PAPAILIAS, Co.'s Series FIS sight flow indicators are provided with NPT threaded ends per ANSI B2.1,  These sightflow indicators offer inline on-the-spot viewing of a pipeline's contents. Series FIS may be configured with flapper, drip tube or rotary flow indicators. Options include socket weld and silver brazing connections and double window assemblies. Rating: 150 PSIG (10.3 Barg). Full ANSI pressure Class 150 rating available.

FEATURES:
• NPT Threaded connections per ANSI B2.1
• Standard fasteners per ASTM A193 and ASTM A194 complying with most piping specifications.
• Tempered borosilicate glass
• Pipeline view is maximized for unobstructed process observation of gases, solids, solutions, and slurries.
• J.G. PAPAILIAS, Co.'s  ANSI flanged units are ideal for piping, process, and mechanical engineers that wish
to view the contents inside their pipelines.

INTERNAL FLOW INDICATOR OPTIONS:
• Plain Style: No internal Indicator -Unit may be mounted in any direction and flow is bi-directional. Used to indicate easily visible fluids or lack of same to detect color, clarity, turbidity or other critical characteristics of fluids. Flow Direction: Bi-Directional; Flow Orientation: Any Orientation.

Flapper Style: A hinged flapper to indicate flow of media.  Velocity of fluids will be indicated by position of flapper.  Units may be for flow in one direction only and can be mounted either horizontally or vertically with upward flow.  Flow Direction: Unii-Directional; Flow Orientation: Vertical Up or Horizontal.

• Rotor Style:
A PTFE or SST  Rotor indicator allows the easy verification of flow.  This style indicator can be used in any flow orientation and for bi-directional flow.  The speed of rotation also indicates relative flow velocity.  Ideal for opaque liquids or heavy gases, flow can be detected from far distances. Flow Direction: Bi-Directional; Flow Orientation: Any Orientation.

• Drip Tube Style:
These indicators are used for low are intermittent flow in uni-direction flow in vertical down or horizontal directions.  The drip tube forces the liquid flow media to collect on the lower lip of the tube which allows the user to observe it visibly drip off. Flow Direction: Unii-Directional; Flow Orientation: Vertical Down or Horizontal.
• Flutter Style:  A PTFE flutter indicator can be used in any flow orientation and for bi-directional flow of gasses or liquids. The thin PTFE membrane curls into the flow area and moves with the slightest presence of a gas or liquid.  The degree of vibration or flutter indicates relative flow velocity.  Flow Direction: Bi-Directional; Flow Orientation: Any Orientation.
